About Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that brings joy and hope to children worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoe boxes and evangelistic materials that share the Good News of God’s love. During October and November we collect shoeboxes and supplies and then hold a “packing party” in November.

When the summer winds to a close and our children and students prepare for another school year, we direct your attention to many of the back to school sales which will be available. We are asking for your help in bolstering our collections of essential items for Operation Christmas Child early this year!

Remember, all items must be NEW!

Some items which will be readily available and discounted for back to school sales include:

Headbands, hair clips and barrettes, journals, small notebooks, notepads, sticker books, 1 subject notebooks spiral composition notebooks, flash cards, pencil erasers, Lg pink erasers, pencil cases, pencils, pens, coloring books, puzzle books, coloring sets, toddler books/board books, solar calculators, crayons, white chalk, colored pencils, marker sets, glue sticks, rulers, scissors (safety), pencil sharpeners, watercolor sets, sketch pads and spiral notebooks

Please do not donate the following items since they cannot pass customs:

Soap, toothpaste, glass/breakables, food of any kind including hard candy, liquids including lotions, glue, paint (watercolors okay), political or war related items including flags, guns, camouflage.
