Believing in God’s Word and Spirit

“The First Reformed Church has been one of the greatest blessings in the life of my son and I. Amazing worship, fellowship, friends and love. I was on a journey on a long time and finally found my home. I encourage you to come visit and worship with us. You will be welcomed with open arms.”

“Feeling broken, lost and alone, you wonder if your existence matters. Mom and Dad are gone. Cancer has taken your beloved sister. You are literally at the end of the rope, but you have two amazing sons. Do you sink or swim? You feel that you’re a good person, of course you are a sinner, but do I deserve this grief? Living in constant worry and depression, tackling all problems on your own. Shattered. I suppose the Holy Spirit had drawn me to a book, Giving Faith A Second Chance, by Christopher B Wolf. A must read. I felt this book was speaking to me, written for me and spoke to me about my separation of my belief and trust of my faith. On March 28 2021, Palm Sunday, my birthday, I decided it was time to go back to church. I left my comfort zone at home and went in hoping to feel welcomed. This feels like home. Pastor Wolf and the Congregation are loving and compassionate. The First Reformed Church has changed many aspects in my life. I am hopeful, and assured that with my repentance, and my faith, that I am forgiven. This gives me hope!”

“Are you interested in attending a church which is based on the teaching of Jesus Christ? Are you interested in attending a church that is led by a Pastor who not only teaches Christ but follows His teaching himself? Are you interested in attending a church whose members are family in every meaning of the word? My wife and I returned to New Jersey several years ago and discovered the First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook and it has made such a difference in our lives and faith.”
